Affiliate Disclosure

How this site is funded, and why it never changes a tool result.

The short version

This site's tools are free to use and always will be. Running them costs real money — servers, domains, and time — and that's covered by two things: advertising (Google AdSense) and, on some pages, affiliate links to providers like domain registrars, hosting companies, and SSL certificate issuers. If you click one of those links and go on to sign up or make a purchase, we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you.

What this does not affect

Nothing about advertising or affiliate links changes any diagnostic result on this site. Every WHOIS lookup, DNS record, SSL certificate check, health score, or risk indicator is generated independently and live from the public DNS system, RDAP/WHOIS registries, and the target server itself — the same result whether or not a given page happens to show an affiliate link that day. Nothing here is placed higher or lower, shown or hidden, based on any commercial relationship.

How to tell the difference

Every affiliate recommendation on this site is shown in its own clearly marked box, labeled "Advertisement," with a distinct yellow-bordered style — never inside a tool's result table, never styled to look like part of a diagnostic finding. If you're ever unsure whether something is a tool result or a recommendation, the label will tell you.

How partners are chosen

Recommendations are matched to what the page is actually about — a domain lookup tool may recommend a registrar; an SSL checker may recommend a certificate provider; this is about relevance to the tool you're using, not a ranked "best of" methodology, and we don't claim these are objectively the best available options in their category — only that they're relevant to what you're looking at.

Advertising

This site may display advertising served by Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies to serve and measure ads, and, if you've consented, to personalize them based on your browsing. This only happens if you've allowed the "Advertising" category in this site's cookie consent banner — see our Cookie Policy for the specific cookies involved and how to change your choice at any time.
