SSL Certificate Checker

The complete certificate — subject, alternative names, issuer, chain, fingerprint and validity — for any domain.

About this tool

This shows a certificate's full details as presented during the live TLS handshake — the same information a browser inspects when it decides whether to trust a connection. For a quick pass/fail verdict instead, see SSL Checker.

Reading the chain

A certificate chain links the site's certificate up to a root certificate authority browsers trust, through one or more intermediate certificates. A missing or incomplete intermediate chain is a common, easy-to-miss misconfiguration — the certificate can look fine when checked directly, yet still fail in some browsers that don't already cache the missing intermediate.
